A six step method to live your best life ever

Change has been a reoccurring theme this year. People everywhere are looking to make significant changes in their careers, families, and lives. One thing that constantly changes is age; after all, 50 is the new 30, and life, no matter how wonderful, is definitely not what everyone planned it to be. The economy has taken 401k’s and made them 104k’s and now family members who once lived around the corner or in other cities are now living together under one roof . No, this isn’t the life that many people bargained for but believe it or not, your financial pitfalls and tarnished expectations can be solved by changing one thing—your mindset.

This six step method will give you a head start to open up new possibilities, change your perspective, and live your best life ever; and it all starts with your brain.

1. Your Beautiful Brain

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how your mind is the single most powerful organ in your body. This is far more sophisticated than any computer on the market and the most wonderful news is, you can control the data that goes into your brain. You know the saying Garbage in garbage out (you’ll hear me mention this later on as well). This is the absolute truth to your brain. Nothing positive comes out of negativity. You will constantly find yourself settling for something that is just not quite right. It’s like buying a $600.00 pair of designer shoes two sizes too small – you got the shoes but they’re killing you! Every time you hear a negative thought run through your head you need to stamp it out. Replace it with a positive one.

2. Seeing Is Believing

There are two important parts to your brain; the conscious and subconscious brain. The conscious brain has the attention span of a three (3) year old. This is the brain that has you eating mud pie, pizza and doughnuts on January 2nd after swearing this year would be different. The subconscious brain is where change is made. You need to get past your conscious brain – the gate-keeper and go straight to the part of your brain that is open to suggestion, thoughts, sights and sounds. Vision boards, affirmations, and belief are paramount to making things happen for you. Your sub-conscious is king!

3. You Are What You Eat

Remember when I said garbage in garbage out? That also holds true for the food that you put into your body. You are feeding your instrument, your brain and your soul. We put such an emphasis on disorders – obsessive compulsive, eating, drugs and alcohol. So often we hear about a friend,
